BC's Relief Grant Up to $10,000 Per Business

Businesses across B.C. have been feeling the impact of the recent province-wide restriction of indoor dining since March 29. Many restaurants had stocked inventory expecting an annual customer rush due to the Easter long weekend, resulting in spoiled food. This is especially true for businesses that could not transition to patio seating or online delivery services such as SkiptheDishes, DoorDash or UberEats.

Thankfully, this week the Provincial Government introduced the Circuit Breaker Relief Grant, funding businesses up to $10,000 based on the number of employees. It's not enough, but it is a good start.

Fitness and hospitality businesses impacted by the recent provincial health orders can apply for the grant starting April 12. Act quickly; only $50 million have been allocated for this grant till June 4 or till the funds are completely distributed.
